Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of patient accounting systems and data entry codes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information at registration.
• Enter data into the patient accounting system and obtain signatures on forms.
• Collect co-payments and explain patient liabilities at check-in.
• Validate insurance and medical necessity to support clearance.
• Assist in patient flow and coordinate with scheduling/other departments.
