Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent; Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience: Preferred not required.
• Licensure: None required.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient and referring provider calls; schedule and register patients.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for appointments.
• Attach referrals to appointments and document insurance information.
• Provide patients with paper and electronic tools for the care team.
• Maintain appointment schedules and reschedule as needed.
• Follow SOPs and ensure privacy in all interactions.
• Communicate scheduling preferences to reduce conflicts.
• Prepare letters and notes for patient follow-up when applicable.
