Job summary

The position emphasizes accuracy in data entry, coding of visits, and cash handling, with responsibilities including assisting patients to access care and coordinating care pathways across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a positive, professional reception area.
• Process calls, messages, and scheduling promptly and accurately.
• Pre-register patients and enter information into the billing system per policies.
• Assist in coordinating referrals, authorizations, and provider scheduling.
• Aim to collect payment at the time of visit and maintain neat cash sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment and support regulatory readiness.
