Job summary

Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge is seeking an experienced patient access/registrations specialist to support scheduling and registration for new patients. You will document demographics, manage calls, and relay information to providers with high accuracy and courtesy.

You will contribute to a compliant workflow, coordinate with referring offices, and help ensure prompt access to care while protecting patient privacy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of customer service experience in a contact/call center.
• Experience in a medical office or health care setting with Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Document demographic, medical, financial, and referral information in systems.
• Answer calls, triage, and leave accurate messages with professional service.
• Provide basic information to patients regarding practice and hospitals.
• Ensure medical records are available to health care providers.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and privacy.
