Job summary

Christ Community Health Services Augusta is seeking a diligent Scheduling Coordinator to manage centralized scheduling, optimize appointment availability, and support patient flow across clinics. You will interact with patients and staff to ensure timely access to care and maintain high service standards.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, call center, or front office.
• Associate's degree in health administration preferred.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new patient intake, follow-up, and same-day appointments to maximize productivity.
• Communicate appointment expectations and required documents to patients.
• Monitor no-show patterns and optimize scheduling to improve access.
• Notify site leadership of schedule changes to ensure smooth workflow.
• Align scheduling templates with productivity goals and patient access standards.
• Provide recommendations to enhance scheduling workflows and patient experience.
