• Training available for medical terminology; prior experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Register patients and enter accurate demographic information into the system; verify insurance details.
• Coordinate with billing for insurance eligibility and referral requirements.
• Schedule appointments with UOI physicians and confirm date, time and location.
• Use Athena EMR for scheduling and messaging providers and staff.
• Travel to all sites as necessary and maintain professional relationships with team.
