UofL Health is seeking a Scheduler to greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain records within the Ambulatory Care setting in Louisville, KY. The role emphasizes professional phone etiquette, strong customer service, and accurate use of the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities include directing calls, verifying information, processing orders and referrals, and assisting patients throughout the visit. A high school diploma is required with healthcare exposure preferred.

Mansioni

• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Check patient into the electronic medical record.
• Ensure patient packet questionnaire is complete; assist patient if needed.
• Address patients' questions or needs.
• Review MD visit orders to manage and expedite care (referrals, follow ups, test orders, medication orders).
• Print paperwork for patient education and/or test instructions.
• Check patient out of the electronic medical record at visit completion.
• Support goals of department/organization; work as a team player.
