CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Indianapolis is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to serve as the Patient Access Coordinator onsite, ensuring data quality and revenue integrity while guiding patients through the clinic.

You will verify patient identity and insurance, manage the front door flow to keep wait times low, and be the first and last contact for patient experience. This role includes POS collections and scheduling coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: computer literacy; patient eligibility and benefits; scheduling systems.
• Skills: handle patient concerns with rapport; follow workflows; manage scheduling and follow-up.
• Abilities: maintain accuracy across tasks; manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Essential Behaviors & Attributes: reliability, punctuality, integrity with PHI and cash, professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit preparation: review schedule 24-48 hours in advance to identify gaps.
• Digital-first intake: facilitate patient check-in using digital tools.
• Queue and wait-time management: monitor waiting room and EMR queues; communicate delays.
• Exit and outreach: conduct checkout, schedule follow-ups, and outreach for no-shows.
