Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in the United States (Arizona region) is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support specialist to deliver a safe, accurate, and welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout. You will verify patient identity and insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure data quality while guiding patients through the clinic.

This onsite role (40 hours/week) requires preparing visits, facilitating digital intake, managing queues and outreach, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: Using scheduling systems to optimize staffing levels

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: Review the schedule 24–48 hours in advance to identify missing documentation, expired authorizations, or insurance gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: Facilitate patient check-in via digital tools, ensuring all demographics, consents, and 'Patient-Ready' signals are completed accurately.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: Monitor the waiting room and EMR task queues; communicate delays and handle POS collections with integrity.
• Exit & Outreach: Conduct checkout, schedule follow-ups, and manage outbound outreach for no-shows or preventive care appointments.
