Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI, is seeking a Patient Access Representative - Hospital to register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and collect outstanding balances. You will promote a positive patient experience with empathy and clear communication while supporting compassionate collections.

100% FTE, day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5 pm, at University Hospital. A High School diploma is preferred; one year of customer service experience is required; healthcare or call center experience

Qualifications

  • No minimum education required
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management or related field Preferred
