Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to manage appointment scheduling via phone, in-person, or electronic communication. The role requires coordinating with clinic staff to ensure timely, quality patient care and responding to incoming questions from patients and families.

The position is full-time in Wisconsin with daytime hours (8:00 am–5:00 pm) and a starting pay of $19.59 per hour. UW Health offers extensive benefits, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field Preferred

Job description

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday- Friday within the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, no weekend rotation required. Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the clinic.

Pay:

Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to:
  Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
• Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
• Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Work Experience

• 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
• Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
• Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred
• Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
