Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative - Float to coordinate patient appointments and maintain accurate records. The role supports clinicians by ensuring referrals and authorizations are obtained and tracked efficiently.

The schedule is full-time, 100% FTE, day shift with hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm on weekdays, no weekend rotation. Benefits include health and dental insurance, PTO, parental leave, adoption assistance, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required; High School Diploma preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field preferred.
• Previous office/customer service experience helpful.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Monday- Friday within the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, no weekend rotation required. Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the clinic.

Pay:

Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
• Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
• Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred
• Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
