Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support access and reimbursement for infused therapies in the Houston, TX area. You will educate providers on coverage pathways, assist with prior authorization, and help patients navigate benefits while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong communication and analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and travel up to 50% to support sites of care and physician offices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s with patient services and/or access experience.
• A mix of education and experience in patient services and reimbursement.
• Understanding of HIPAA and reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient access and reimbursement support for infused/specialty therapies.
• Engage with patients, caregivers, and providers via calls, virtual, and in person.
• Educate physician offices on coverage pathways and prior authorization requirements.
• Resolve access issues and assist with denials and appeals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Site of Care teams.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines.
