Job summary

Amgen is seeking a dedicated professional for Patient Access and Reimbursement Support. You will guide patients and providers through insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and coverage pathways to ensure access to infused therapies.

You will educate on coding/billing aspects, support site-of-care education, and collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and field teams to resolve access barriers.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent combination with patient services experience.
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in patient services or access roles.
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years in patient services and/or access roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
• Assist patients, caregivers, and providers in navigating insurance benefits and prior authorizations.
• Educate on coding and billing considerations relevant to therapy access.
• Develop relationships with patients and caregivers through various engagement modes.
• Educate providers on therapy coverage pathways and reimbursement processes.
• Investigate access challenges and escalate complex issues to internal teams.
