Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support patients, caregivers, and providers in navigating insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for Amgen therapies. The role partners with internal teams to address payer requirements, prior authorization, and financial assistance programs.

You will engage with patients and providers across geography, educate on coverage, assist with authorization steps, and resolve access barriers while adhering to HIPAA and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master’s with 2+ years of patient services and/or access and reimbursement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of patient services and/or access and/or reimbursement experience (Level 5) or higher.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
• Educate patients and providers on coverage and prior authorization steps.
• Support physician offices and sites of care in navigating reimbursement questions.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Management, and Site of Care teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities in Amgen’s internal system.
