Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Patient Access representative to accurately register patients in the EMR, verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure a best-in-class patient experience. You will inform patients about billing procedures, help them understand charges, obtain accurate insurance information, and monitor schedules to assess financial responsibility.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a customer service/front desk role or a graduate of a front office/medical office program.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Register patients in Epic and verify insurance; collect required payments.
• Explain billing procedures and patient liability; help with payment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charges.
• Coordinate with clinicians to ensure referrals and access to MyChart.
