Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages flow at check-in.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information.
• Completes walk-in registrations and updates data.
• Verifies benefits and collects patient liabilities.
• Applies financial clearance policies as needed.
• Identifies financial assistance needs and refers to counseling.
• Facilitates visit closure and schedules follow-ups.
• Maintains Medicare/Medicaid and payer requirements knowledge.
• Communicates process-improvement opportunities to management.
• Meets productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintains professional relations with patients and staff.
• Operates office equipment and ADT systems.
