Rochester Regional Health is seeking an Access Associate for the UMMC North Street Campus in Batavia, NY. You will greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, and process payments, serving as the first point of contact for patients and families.

The role is full-time days in the Emergency Department with a 7:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule and every other weekend. Requirements include a 2 year degree or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and intermediate computer proficiency.

Competenze

• Two year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Customer Service: Manage incoming calls and provide information; greet patients and direct them as needed; schedule appointments.
• Registration & Verification: Complete patient registrations per policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain precertifications when applicable.
• Billing & Payments: Collect and process payments as applicable.
