Job summary

Advocate Health in Pineville, NC is seeking a part-time Revenue Cycle Clerk to support patient registration and billing processes. You will create a foundational electronic health record, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and communicate financial responsibilities to patients while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards.

The position features a 3rd shift from 22:45 to 07:15, about 16 hours per week with every-other weekend required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare administrative duties is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record foundations for patients.
• Check in/register patients, verify demographic and insurance information, collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance and financial responsibilities to patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
