Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Patient Access or related experience (office support, billing, hospitality, call center).
• Intermediate math skills gained through schooling or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients and families promptly per AIDET standards.
• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibilities during enrollment.
• Collect co-insurance and co-pays in accordance with policy.
• Use electronic systems to confirm coverage and discuss findings with patients.
• Pre-registers and registers patients; ensure accurate demographics and authorization data.
• Maintain knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and notify teams of issues.
