Job summary

You will work an evening shift (1830-0300) with every other weekend, totaling 16 hours per week, contributing to smooth patient flow and timely billing processes.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-stress environment preferred.
• Preferred: experience with insurance verification/eligibility tools, EPIC EMR, patient liability estimation tools.

Responsibilities

• Creates the initial electronic health record foundation and ensures patient safety and proper identification.
• Checks in and registers patients, verifies demographics and insurance, collects co-pays and payments.
• Explains insurance coverage and refers to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and handles confidential information.
• Schedules appointments and provides patient guidance and directions.
• Manages EHR work queues according to approved processes.
