Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
• English speaking, reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter demographic, insurance and related patient information into the registration system.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and arrange pre-authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Verify workman’s compensation and automobile coverage when required.
• Schedule radiology, lab and basic ancillary service appointments.
• Collect patient liabilities such as deductibles, copays and balances prior to or at service time.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with clerical duties as required.
