Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Guest Services Representative to support patient access and registration processes. You will welcome patients, verify demographics and insurance details, and input information into the systems to ensure accurate billing and timely care delivery.

Responsibilities include registering patients for services, coordinating with clinical staff, educating patients on portal use and test locations, and collecting co-pays at check-in.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health services administration or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years in customer services in a medical office or equivalent with medical terminology preferred
• Prior collections experience preferred
• CHAA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, greet patients, verify demographics, insurance and billing information
• Register patients for services and support timely discharge to maximise reimbursement
• Maintain open communication with clinical partners to ensure smooth patient access and operations
• Provide patient education about test locations, portal use, and follow-up actions
• Request co-pays and/or outstanding balances at check-in
