Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable) as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, billing, and insurance information.
• Enter data into registration and billing systems for service and claim processing.
• Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations as needed.
• Prepare consent forms and notices of privacy practices for signatures.
• Collect deposits and co-payments, provide receipts, and document payments.
• Prepare patient armbands and balance daily receipts.
• Screen and gather information for coverage and paperwork.
• Perform medical necessity checks and Advanced Beneficiary Notices as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments per workflow.
