Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin's Kenosha campus is seeking a part-time Registration Specialist for the 10361 Enterprise Revenue Cycle area. The role is 1st shift, 20 hours per week, with alternating weekend and holiday rotation as described.

You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect co-pays, and support efficient patient flow in an ER setting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, excellent customer service, HIPAA awareness, and comfort with EPIC and insurance verification

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Experience in a fast-paced ER setting preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR and insurance tools required.

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record for patients.
• Check in and register patients, verify demographics and insurance.
• Explain insurance coverage and collect payments from patients.
