Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with insurance verification and EPIC EMR preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Create initial electronic health record for patient care and safety.
• Check in/register patients; verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance basics and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments and communicate test prep and arrival details.
• Provide welcoming service, handle calls, directions, and assistance.
• Monitor EHR queues and follow department procedures.
