The University of Mississippi Medical Center's Rev Cycle - Patient Access Colony Park is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, verify insurance, register for services, collect payments, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records in the EMR. You will ensure a smooth, welcoming experience while adhering to confidentiality standards.

High school diploma required; experience with revenue cycle systems and strong communication skills preferred.

Competenze

• Strong communication and confidentiality skills required.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors professionally and empathetically.
• Register patients with accurate demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms and privacy notices per policy and law.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and update records accordingly.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; explain financial assistance options when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient data in the EMR and registration systems; correct duplicates.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries with sensitivity to diverse situations.
