Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in the Emergency Department with professionalism and empathy.
• Complete patient registration including demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms and privacy notices; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and update EMR records accordingly.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, or deposits; provide information on financial assistance when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient data in the EMR and registration systems; correct duplicates or errors.
