Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Register patients in EMR with accurate demographic and financial data.
Greet customers promptly and professionally.
Collect and document required demographic and financial information.
Direct patients to appropriate setting and explain delays.
Maintain professionalism and diplomacy per department policy.
Estimate and collect copays, deductibles and other financial obligations.
Operate within hospital and department compliance plans and Meaningful Use requirements.
May use electronic registration tools (e.g., tablets) when available.
Perform duties as assigned by management.
