Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently performs registration and financial functions via EMR, including demographic data collection and documentation.
• Greet customers promptly with a warm and friendly reception.
• Collects, documents, and scans required demographic and financial information.
• Direct patients to appropriate setting, explaining delays when necessary and maintaining professionalism.
• Estimates and collects copays, deductibles, and other financial obligations.
• Complies with hospital and department policies and Meaningful Use requirements.
• May facilitate use of electronic registration tools (e.g., iPads).
• Performs duties as assigned by Management.
