Advocate Health in Aurora, IL is seeking a part-time Patient Registration Coordinator to join the Enterprise Revenue Cycle team. The role manages patient check-in, data collection, and insurance verification, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance for a smooth billing process.

You will handle co-pays, set up appointments, and provide friendly assistance to patients, families, and staff. The position requires high school education, strong communication, and proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with patient registration and billing processes is a plus.
• HIPAA knowledge and patient confidentiality required.

Responsabilités

• Create initial electronic health record for patients.
• Register patients and verify demographic, guarantor, and insurance info.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect co-pays as needed.
• Refer patients to Financial Advocates when appropriate.
• Schedule appointments and communicate test preparations.
• Provide welcoming, professional customer service to patients and visitors.
