Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Patient Access Registrar to greet patients, verify insurance, and complete pre-registration processes in a fast-paced environment. You will collect demographics, explain coverage basics, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Patient Access or related areas.
• Experience with insurance verification and pre-registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility using ADT/payment systems.
• Handle pre-registration/registration and educate patients on documents.
• Assist with collecting co-pays and coinsurance per policy.
• Coordinate with care teams to direct patients to appropriate services.
