Qualifications

• Experience in hospital, clinic, medical office, or revenue cycle/front desk roles.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and payor guidelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proficient data entry.
• Ability to work across departments and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests courteously and verify demographics for the medical record.
• Schedule appointments or check-in/out patients; collect co-pays and verify insurance.
• Explain benefits and financial responsibilities; perform basic financial analysis of cases.
• Balance cash drawer, prepare deposits, and maintain daily reconciliation.
• Maintain compliance with Privacy, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support patient flow and service quality.
