Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and payor guidelines.
  • Strong data-entry and computer skills; proficiency with Windows-based software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and guests.
  • Handle scheduling, registration, and admissions processes.
  • Verify demographic and insurance information and collect payments as needed.
  • Explain benefits and responsibilities to patients and assist with financial counseling.
  • Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-shift procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and security standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support patient care and billing.
