Qualifications

• Preferred certifications in CHAM, CHAA, or Medical Assistant (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests courteously; initiate scheduling or check-in/admission.
• Verify insurance via electronic verification, phone, or web application.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay amounts; explain benefits and financial responsibilities.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare deposits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accurate data entry for demographics and medical records.
• Provide excellent customer service and support multiple functions across patient and payer types.
