Job summary

The Patient Access Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate patient registration and admission processes within the hospital's clinic setting. They are responsible for greeting patients and confirming and/or updating information and demographics, verifying insurance coverage, and creating a positive and welcoming experience for patients.

This position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Required: Three (3) years’ experience in healthcare registration, admissions, scheduling, or related customer service roles.
• Preferred: Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare registration, admissions, scheduling, or related customer service roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and confirm and/or update information and demographics.
• Verify insurance coverage and contribute to a positive, welcoming experience for patients.
