Responsibilities

• Register patients across access points, verify demographics and insurance, and document in the EHR.
• Scan, index and manage patient documentation to support registration and billing workflows.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments as appropriate at point of service.
• Schedule, confirm, and revise patient appointments to support timely access to care.
• Resolve routine registration/insurance discrepancies; escalate complex issues when needed.
• Provide patient-facing support via phone and other channels; document interactions per policy.
