Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate or degree in health care field preferred.
• Previous medical administrative experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately in the hospital information system (pre-reg and post-reg).
• Verify insurance eligibility and real-time coverage at point of service.
• Collect cash at point of service as needed and manage related payments.
• Greet patients and visitors; direct them to appropriate areas and resources.
• Coordinate with clinical and revenue cycle departments to ensure smooth patient experience.
