Qualifications

• Must successfully pass required training in two attempts or less

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain demographic and insurance information
• Engages patients to create a welcoming experience in person or by phone
• Ensures orders from referring providers are complete and match appointments
• Scans insurance cards and patient documents accurately and securely
• Obtains signatures to ensure timely reimbursement and service authorization
• Determines and collects patient financial responsibility and provides estimates as needed
• Directs patients to financial resources for counseling or assistance
• Reviews daily schedule to identify conflicts and works with staff to resolve
• Maintains compliance with registration accuracy and regulatory requirements
