Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Patient Access Registrar for our Harrisburg, NC location. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, explain costs, and pre-register patients for services in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, coordinating with Financial Counselors and clinical teams, and ensuring accurate registration data in our ADT systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in Patient Access or related roles.
• Experience with insurance verification and pre-registration processes.
• Strong math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients and families promptly.
• Explain the information collected and why it's needed.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance coverage; pre-register for services.
• Collect co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses per policy; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with Financial Counseling and clinical staff to resolve coverage issues.
