Job summary

You will gather and verify registration, billing, and related information across Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology, and the Emergency Department, ensuring correct insurance coverage and benefits.

You will review processes with patients and families and continually promote a positive patient encounter as the hospital's first impression.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Patient Access.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and third-party billing.
• 3 years experience in a related role.
• Sponsoring TUH/TUHS training/internship program may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for hospital services in Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology and Emergency Department.
• Gather and process all registration, billing and related information from patients and families.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Review registration process with patients and families to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Promote a positive patient encounter as the first impression of the Hospital.
