Job summary

Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate to greet patients, answer phones, and perform registration duties with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure accurate data in our electronic health record systems.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to maintain a welcoming environment at the front desk and during patient flow through our ED/UC facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience or 1 year in customer service.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiar with health insurance concepts and verification.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and respond to phones with a friendly professional demeanor.
• Register patients, update demographics, verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Enter data into electronic health records and office databases.
• Provide wayfinding and high-level customer service at the point of service.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and maintain clean front desk and waiting areas.
• Assist with follow-up activities and visit closures as needed.
