Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/out patients, verify information and input data into the registration system.
• Provide courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone or in person.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostics, referrals, and/or consultations.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards, forms of ID, and signatures on forms as required.
• Assist patients with forms to meet regulatory and billing needs prior to care.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and education related to payments.
• Process payments and document interactions in the EMR with accuracy.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and PHI; stay current on clinic procedures.
