Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Customer Service Liaison to create a positive first impression and manage patient registrations in an interdepartmental setting. You will greet patients, collect demographical and regulatory data, verify insurance and eligibility, obtain signatures, and guide patients to their destinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Graduate; Some College preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 2-4 years in a health care setting with medical terminology and registration/check in experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required;Insurance knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides accurate patient information and enters data into the Meditech system.
• Verifies demographical info, insurance details, and signatures according to policies.
• Ensures HIPAA/privacy notices are respected and handles patient intake and registration front desk tasks.
• Coordinates with Scheduling, Pre-certification, Care Management, Billing, and Medical Records to ensure proper registration.
