Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Graduate; Some College preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 2-4 years in a health care setting with medical terminology and registration/check in experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required;Insurance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate patient information and enters data into the Meditech system.
• Verifies demographical info, insurance details, and signatures according to policies.
• Ensures HIPAA/privacy notices are respected and handles patient intake and registration front desk tasks.
• Coordinates with Scheduling, Pre-certification, Care Management, Billing, and Medical Records to ensure proper registration.
