Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred - Associate's degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, medical office, revenue cycle, or customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, guests, and families.
• Create, activate, and complete scheduling, clinic registration, or hospital admission processes.
• Ensure all forms are completed and paperwork is gathered accurately.
• Input patient/guarantor demographics and financial information; explain benefits and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Perform financial analysis and inform patients of financial responsibility.
• Balance cash drawer daily and handle deposits at shift end.
• Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate with staff to prevent conflicts.
• Adapt communication to diverse patient populations while maintaining privacy.
• Other related duties as required.
