Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Management professional to lead the Patient Access Operations. You will plan, organize, and coordinate admitting, registration, financial counseling, training and scheduling to ensure accurate demographic, financial, and clinical data collection during registrations.

Responsibilities include managing pre-certification and authorization processes, staffing, policy maintenance, and collaboration with Nursing, Medical Records, and Patient

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8 years of relevant work experience required.
• 4 years Patient Access experience required; 2 years supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, educate, organize, coordinate, and control all registration activities.
• Maintain all Patient Access policies and procedures.
• Maintain all job descriptions and standards for registration personnel.
• Implement and control registration procedures.
• Coordinate with nursing/medical staffing to meet Patient Access needs.
• Coordinate with Directors of Medical Records and Patient Accounts to ensure needs are met.
• Ensure accurate completion of medical and financial forms for admissions/registration/scheduling.
• Cross-train staff across departments and monitor staffing schedules for efficiency.
• Inform Director of Patient Financial Services on status of admitting/financial/scheduling operations.
