Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of patient scheduling/registration experience in healthcare.
• Experience with medical terminology, medical insurance, HMO, managed care, electronic billing/registration systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring.

Responsibilities

• Supervise registration/scheduling staff and delegate daily work.
• Coordinate workload distribution and monitor performance outcomes.
• Identify and implement process changes to improve patient services and staff productivity.
• Serve as liaison with other departments to address issues.
• May involve access to medications and related supplies.
