Job summary

Valor Health seeks a Patient Access Operations Supervisor to oversee patient access workflows, registration, scheduling, and front-end service across the organization. You will lead staff, set service standards, and drive operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Reporting to the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will manage front-end personnel, align processes with clinical departments, and lead real-time service recovery for access-related issues to improve patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in patient access, registration, scheduling, or revenue cycle is expected.
• Supervisory or lead experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily activities and workflow for Patient Access and Patient Support functions.
• Manages staffing schedules and ensures coverage for registration, scheduling, and patient support.
• Establishes initial and ongoing training standards for Patient Access staff.
• Leads operational service recovery for patient access and tracks related metrics.
• Maintains knowledge of scheduling, registration, and eligibility verification.
• Ensures compliance with CMS, EMTALA, HIPAA, and Valor Health policies.
