• Monitors hour by hour the workload of Patient Access Representatives to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Acts as support to line staff and supervises as appropriate.
• Identifies areas for workflow improvements and helps determine the best approach for projects.
• Ensures patients are pre-registered and meets managed care requirements prior to arrival.
• Assists in training staff and maintains staff schedules.
• Ensures tools and resources are available for staff to complete their jobs.
• Maintains work queues and reports on quality and productivity to supervisor.
