Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus is seeking an experienced Patient Access Supervisor to ensure registration is accurate and timely while coordinating with multiple departments and payer workflows to support efficient patient access.

You will lead staff, conduct formal performance reviews, enforce policies, manage staffing levels, and resolve billing and access issues, all while driving compliance with regulations and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Three years of leadership/management experience in healthcare.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and participates in hiring, termination, and counseling.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides feedback.
• Enforces department policies and conducts monthly team meetings.
• Manages time and attendance and staffing levels.
• Lorges with patients, families, vendors and hospital staff; liaises on billing needs.
• Keeps staff compliant with regulations and contract requirements.
• Works on resolving accounts receivable and customer service issues.
